You can sew through pewter on a regular sewing machine.

This was an order to various specifications, colours, heart placements etc. It was based on a design from one of my own designs from a previous canvas . The background is free machine embroidered, with the pewter incorporated into the design, using metallic thread. The whole piece is mounted on a chunky canvas which is 30x30cm.

If you would like a different style pewter and ink canvas of your child, then I can work from a photograph. This portrait is double mounted on canvas and painted in alcohol inks, acrylics and waxes. The size of the actual portrait is 18x12cm and the backing canvas is 25x20cm
